The CPRE submit objection

The Campaign for the Protection of Rural England has come out in support of the BLOCK Campaign, opposing the proposed industrial gas plant near Sewstern, Gunby and Stainby.

Writing to the Chief Executive of South Kesteven District Council Ron Simpson BEM, Chair of CPRE Rutland said

“I write on behalf of the charity’s membership in Lincolnshire and Rutland to submit strong objections to the anaerobic digester proposals. CPRE the countryside charity in principle endorses such development provided it is on an appropriate scale and in an appropriate location, as well as being supported by a substantial majority of the local community impacted by the development. This is clearly not the case with this proposal.
